Inktober day 20 – Breakable

Inktober day 20 – breakable

Studio Lisa

Kintsugi (or Kintsukuroi, which means “golden repair”) is the centuries-old Japanese art of fixing broken pottery with a special golden coloured lacquer.
Instead of throwing away the broken object, they fix it and make it more beautiful.
I have always been fascinated with this way of thinking and loved the chance to do something with it with this prompt!
This was my first time using acrylic paint, and I loved it! But defenitly need some practice.
The reason for me trying this new media is because of some upcoming projects I will be doing. Exciting!
Hope you love this piece💕 And I hope I did this Japanse tradition justice😊
